Roodepoort has been ranked at the top of the City of Johannesburg’s regional list of arrests in connection with reckless and negligent driving for the month of January.
This statistic, and others, were released by the MMC for Public Safety, councillor Michael Sun, who was joined by the Executive Mayor, Herman Mashaba on Tuesday, 19 February.

The statistics were compiled by the Johannesburg Metro Police Department. The law enforcement department started putting together these statistics in September last year as a tool of reflection for the officers, as well as a way of informing residents.
