Parents and learners invited to career expo
Tertiary institutions will provide prospective students with tertiary education information.
Parents with children in primary and high school have been invited with their kids to one of the biggest career expos taking place at Clearwater Mall next week.
The High School Career Expo, which is South Africa’s only national public exhibition, will stage a huge exhibition from 22 to 23 February.
The benefits of attending include the fact that all primary and middle school learners and their parents will learn more about public and private high schools, including special programmes, extracurricular activities and admissions criteria; and tertiary institutions will provide prospective students with tertiary education information.
“We furthermore invite all high school parents and students, especially in Grade 11 and 12, to be provided with information such as tertiary courses, loans, transportation, and accommodation to assist them to make the correct choices,” Jenna Jones, the expo organiser explained.
Entrance to the expo at Clearwater Mall is free.
