Body with bullet wounds found in Honeydew

According to ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring, the man showed no signs of life.

The body of a man riddled with bullets was found in Honeydew yesterday morning, Tuesday, 12 February.

Staff of a local security company made the discovery on Boundary Road.

According to ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring, their paramedics arrived on the scene at 8am where they found a number of local security members. They found the body of a man lying on the side of the road.

“Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained gunshot wounds to his head, chest and abdomen, and showed no signs of life,” Meiring explained.

He added that nothing could be done for the victim and he was declared dead.

“The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations,” said Meiring.

Honeydew Police have been approached for comment.
