Eleven injured in taxi roll-over

The wrecked taxi was found lying on its roof in the green belt adjacent to the road.

 

With wet weather conditions being experienced far and wide this morning, Tuesday, 12 February, a taxi roll-over in the Strubens Valley area was among the reported accidents.

According to Netcare 911, 11 people were injured when the driver of the mini-bus taxi lost control resulting in a roll-over on Christiaan de Wet Road.

The wrecked taxi was found lying on its roof in the green belt adjacent to the road.

Another accident apparently involved four vehicles near the Honeydew Police Station on Beyers Naudé Drive. No injuries could be confirmed in this incident.

Motorists have been advised to drive with caution as more rainy weather is expected this week.
