A massive planned power interruption is expected to leave numerous suburbs in the dark tomorrow, Saturday, 9 February.
According to City Power, the electricity supply will be cut off at 10pm and will affect various suburb and extensions, including Amarosa, Poortview, Ruimsig, Strubens Valley, Wilgeheuwel and Lazer Park, just to mention a few.

City Power communicated that the power interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance work on their network, and is part of their programme of constantly striving to provide better service.
The restoration time has not been communicated yet.
