WATCH: Law enforcement clearing the road after huge protest action
It seems as if protesters in Zandspruit have called it a day after hours of violent protest action today, Tuesday, 5 February.

Traffic has started moving freely along the Beyers Naude Drive and Peter Road intersection after the Johannesburg Metro Police Department and the police cleared the roads of any burning tyres and debris.
The protest started earlier on in the day after JMPD demolished illegal structures on a piece of land that was earmarked for development.

Although most law enforcement vehicles have left the scene, a few have remained to continue monitoring the situation.
This is a developing story.
