According to a Facebook post from BCI Security an attempted hijacking took place outside Clearwater Mall yesterday evening.

BCI reportedly received the notification of the attempted hijacking of a blue Volkswagen Polo around 6.50pm yesterday, 11 January. According to the notification they received it’s believed about five possibly armed individuals were involved in the attempted hijacking.
Once BCI’s teams were on scene they found that nobody had been injured during the ordeal. Police were on scene shortly after to conduct their investigations.
