At least five suspects, including a foreign national, were arrested for dealing in narcotics during crime prevention operations that took place this week.
On 28 November, Honeydew Police arrested the foreign national with an undisclosed amount of money and seized a quantity of dagga he had in his possession.

Police spokesperson, Captain Balan Muthan, confirmed that a 29-year-old Nigerian national was arrested by members of Honeydew Police for dealing in narcotics.

“The man was arrested for dealing in an undisclosed quantity of dagga and suspected CAT. An undisclosed amount of cash was also seized during his arrest,” said Muthan.
A day later, at 3am, Muthan further confirmed the arrest of four other suspects in the area for possession of dagga. “The four suspects were arrested in possession of dagga with a street value of R6 000,” he explained
All four suspects are expected to appear in court soon.
