Three suspects arrested in a high-speed chase in Parkhurst by CORTAC Security and police during the night of Thursday, 22 November, have been linked to several crimes on the West Rand.
The suspects were arrested after their vehicle collided head-on with the CORTAC security vehicle. The collision was followed by a crossfire shooting incident.

Subsequent to this, the trio was arrested and handed over to the police for further investigation.
Gary Jordaan, BCI Security JHB West Responders personnel, confirmed to the Northsider that the suspects have been terrorising the West Rand, targeting areas such as Randpark Ridge and Krugersdorp, and stealing Ford Ranger bakkies.
Gary added that a strong case is being put together against the perpetrators.
