Hirsch’s hosts yet another successful health and wellness workshop

The workshop focused on mental health in particular, seeing as November is Mental Health Awareness month.

Hirsch’s Strubens Valley recently held the November edition of their monthly heath and wellness workshops, this time welcoming Max Kaan as speaker.

As November is Mental Health Awareness month, Max Kaan, a well-known hypnotherapist, addressed the audience on mental health, in particular, feeling good about oneself. “Max reiterated the importance of a healthy self-esteem, self-love and approval,” said Hirsch’s Strubens Valley PRO Dorette Nel. “Believing in yourself was highlighted, as well as breaking everything down into small manageable steps.”

The audience was introduced to a powerful technique of marrying visualisation with feelings, with everyone agreeing on its usefulness, and also promising to use it going forward. Max also insisted that people subscribe to the ‘I am Enough’ mantra. “After the talk and demonstration I did feel good about myself, lighter and certainly more cheerful,” said Dorette.

Thato Maoba was the winner of the lucky draw Hirsch’s Cookbook.
