Spate of missing dogs sneaks into Muldersdrift
It is said that a dog baiting operation exists in the area.
The spate of missing dogs in Roodepoort seems to have sneaked over to Muldersdrift as some owners cried about the disappearance of their four-legged friends over the past week.
Concerned animal lover, Raleigh Stud, warned residents to be alert following the incidents. “A high number of dogs have been reported missing in Muldersdrift over the past week. Please check for snares on the fence line and please be alert and keep your eyes on your fur babies,” she cautioned, saying that visits to one’s property by contractors and delivery trucks often seem to result in a dog going missing at the same time.
Raleigh speculated dog baiting to be the cause of missing dogs in the area. It is said that a dog baiting operation exists nearby.
