Charterhouse little ones celebrate school’s 21st with concert

Charterhouse's pre-primary school classes ended their week off on a high note with their school concert on Friday, 14 September.

Celebrating the school’s 21st birthday while having a blast, even Charterhouse’s Kindy Class (two years old) graced the stage for the pre-primary school’s concert.

The little ones had been practising for weeks to prepare for the show they would put on for hundreds of moms and dads. Each of the pre-primary school’s classes were given a specific song they had to dance to.

From golden oldies and classics such as Here Comes the Sun to more modern hits like Waka Waka, the concert had a large variety of differently themed performances. Some of the classes dressed up as cowboys, some as tigers, some as princesses, and some even as tigers for their performances.

The parents absolutely loved watching their little ones take over the stage, even though some were frozen with stage fright. One little girl even started crying as she walked on stage because she was too scared, but she still looked absolutely adorable in her costume.

At the end of the show, all the learners came together to belt out a heartwarming rendition of We All Stand Together by Paul McCartney and the Frog Chorus.
