Alcohol consumption main reason for accidents
“The major contributing factor to all the accidents attended to this weekend was alcohol-related,” said Gary Jordaan, BCI's media liaison.
Motorists have been urged to think before driving under the influence of alcohol.
This message follows interventions by BCI Security’s Incident Support Unit, which attended to various car accidents last weekend. Most of them were the result of drunk driving

“The major contributing factor to all the accidents attended to this weekend was alcohol-related,” said Gary Jordaan, the company’s media liaison.
“Our Incident Support Unit even came across a driver who had passed out at the wheel of his vehicle while waiting at a set of traffic lights on Christiaan de Wet Road,” Gary shared.
