Missing adult safe in hands of his family

The speculation that Bertus was hijacked was dismissed by a relieved Nadia.

 

Bertus Bauermeister’s wife, Nadia has confirmed to the Northsider that her husband was found safe outside of the province.

Bertus’s car was found parked in Randburg yesterday, Tuesday, 14 August, after he went missing the previous day (13 August).

After raising awareness on social media and searches conducted by local authorities, Nadia disclosed that Bertus had been found in Bloemfontein.

“He’s safe at home with the family in Bloemfontein,” she said.

The speculation that Bertus was hijacked was dismissed by a relieved Nadia. “He wasn’t hijacked, something happened to him which traumatised him. He is currently confused and trying to figure out the timeline,” she explained.

The family will be visited by the police to inquire about the incident.
