Motorists cautioned about upcoming race

The organisers have apologised in advance for any inconvenience caused during the race.

Motorists are being cautioned about road closures and the safety of the runners as the Panorama Running Club will be hosting its annual Clearwater 10km and 5km Fun Run Road Race on Saturday, 18 August.

The starting point for the race will be Clearwater Mall and runners will use Hendrik Potgieter Road, Fredenharry Road and surrounding roads in the proximity of Strubens Valley and Little Falls.

A great turnout is once again expected, therefore traffic in the area will also increase. By 9am, all roads will be cleared up.

The times are as follows:

6am – Registration at Entrance No 1 at Clearwater Mall

7am – Start of the 10km road race

7:15am – Start of the 5km fun run

The organisers have apologised in advance for any inconvenience caused during the race.

Should you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact the race director, Andrew Young on 083 236 9275. Also visit the Panorama Runners Facebook page or follow them on Twitter.
