The school also plans to collect and donate books later in the term.

Maragon Ruimsig Preschool learners reached out to the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital in honour of Nelson Mandela’s 100th birthday.

In celebrating his legacy, the children created Madiba books, made musical instruments and friendship bracelets for the patients of the hospital and drew colourful pictures of Madiba to donate to the hospital for their art corridors.

That was not all, as the school also pledged to collect books and donate for the remainder of the term.
