Planned power outage to hit Welties and Constantia tonight
The outage will affect the vast majority of the Weltevreden Park and Constantia Kloof areas.
According to a public announcement issued by City Power earlier today, these areas will be left without power for eight hours starting tonight and coming to an end tomorrow morning.
City Power cites the reason for the outage as “essential maintenance work on our [City Power] network”. The power interruption will affect a large majority of Weltevreden Park and a portion of Constantia Kloof as well.
The following extensions of Weltevreden Park and Constantia Kloof will be left without power from 10pm tonight (17 July) until 6am tomorrow morning (18 July):
Weltevreden Park extensions:

• 110
• 139
• 140
Constantia Kloof extensions:

• 24
• 25
