Canoeists paddle world’s toughest race

They were the only South Africans taking part and finished 41 overall which was an amazing accomplishment for them.

 

Two Radiokop canoeists, Blake Dismore and Ian Lawler, are being hailed for conquering one of the toughest adventure courses in the world.

The duo recently participated in a gruelling canoe adventure race, the Yukon River Quest, on a major watercourse of northwestern North America (Canada), where they paddled a distance of 750km in 80 hours, which was approximately four days.

They were the only South Africans taking part and finished 41st overall, which was an amazing accomplishment for them.

After completing the race they shared their most incredible and hilarious experiences on the water.
