Great season for open netball victors
After being crowned the D12 League winners for winning all of their matches and playing at district playoffs, the school had every right to boast about the girls’ excellence.
King’s School West Rand open netball team proved to be one of the best netball sides in the West Rand following their dominance this season.
From being crowned the D12 League winners for winning all of their matches and playing at district playoffs, the school had all rights to boast about the girls’ excellence.

After cleaning out the league, the girls qualified for the first round of the District Playoffs which were held on 28 May at Allen Glen High School. They played against De La Salle College which they embarrassed with 19 – 3 victory.
From this victory, they progressed to round 2 of the Jomo playoffs on 30 May where they faced Hoërskool Jan Viljoen at Krugersdorp High School but lost to the match although they played with a lot of passion.
