Pano juniors shine over the weekend

Seven of Panorama's eight U/6, U/9, and U/11 sides ran out victorious by five goals or more as they dominated this weekend's games.

The teams played a host of games on Saturday, 5 May, and Sunday, 6 May, churning out seven wins.

The first team to put their opponents to the sword was the U/6A team, which took on Azaadville United on Saturday, 5 May. They dominated right from the outset, racking up five goals in the first 15 minutes alone, before winding up 12–2 victors.

Next up was the U/6B team, which also took on Azaadville, and dispatched them as well. An impressive display from the Panorama players saw them finish the game with a 7–0 win.

The U/9A and -B teams clashed with Northern Stars in their matches at Panorama Football Club on Saturday. The A teams battled it out first in a game which was won 6–1 by Panorama. They were followed by the B team, which defeated Northern Stars 11–1. The U/9C side was the only one that didn’t play Northern Stars, locking horns with West Rand United instead, in a game that they won 11–0.

All three U/11 teams played different opponents. The A team playing against Robertsham Callies Football Club, the B team against Education Through Soccer (ETS), and the C team against Wits.

The B team defeated ETS 5–0, but the C team went down 1–4, despite leading by one goal at half time.

The A team restored Panorama’s pride shortly thereafter as they defeated Robertsham 6–0 on their home turf.
