Proties learners shares special moment with IMAX Cradlestone
The Ster-Kinekor is fully operational again, and welcomed the learners to a free screening of a movie.
Last year, on 9 October, the community of Muldersdrift, Kromdraai and Protearif were affected by a tornado that wrecked two schools, several homes and parts of Cradlestone Mall.
The Ster-Kinekor theatres at Cradlestone were among the severely damaged properties, and had to close their doors temporarily.
However at the end of March, Ster-Kinekor announced that the cinema was fully operational again, and welcomed the learners from Laerskool Protearif, the school which had sustained the worst damage, to the re-opening.
The learners enjoyed a movie in the cinema’s IMAX theatre.
Ster-Kinekor’s Cradlestone IMAX Cinema is one of only seven such cinemas nationwide.
