Strubens Valley pit bull terrier case registered with the police

Strubens Valley pit bull terrier case to be heard in court as soon as police investigation is finalised.

 

In the wake of the rescue of two stray puppies in the Wilgeheuwel area, the Northsider received an update from the Krugersdorp/ Roodepoort SPCA about a case regarding a number of pit bull terriers that were rescued from a property in Strubens Valley in January.

SPCA inspector Mike Allen, who rescued the emaciated animals and a puppy that was stuck inside the drain, said a case was registered at Florida Police Station.

“A case was registered at the police station. They are going to investigate a case of cruelty,” he said.

He added that when the investigation is finalised, the case will be heard in court.
