Allen Lewis-Williams Tournament now under way at Honeydew Bowling Club

The Allen Lewis-Williams Memorial Tournament is held in honour of the man by the same name who passed away in 2011.

Allen Lewis-Williams, aged 60 at the time of his passing, was a dearly loved member of the Honeydew Bowls Club (HBC).

The Allen Lewis-Williams Memorial Tournament was initiated in 2013 by Allen’s brother, Joss, in memory of his late brother. Now, the HBC invites members from bowls clubs in the area to take part in the annual tournament.

Since its inception, the tournament has gone from strength to strength, with just over 50 players taking part each year.

The majority of the funds that are raised at the tournament are donated to the Blind Bowlers and Guide Dogs Associations.
