Woman charged with perjury after opening false case

A woman who had opened a case at Honeydew Police Station recently was apprehended by police after the investigation revealed that the woman was lying.

According to Captain Balan Muthan, the woman came to the station to report a house robbery, which proved to be false.

He said the woman was charged with reporting a false case and perjury.

She will be appearing in court soon.
