The Z4 owner’s mother was with him in the vehicle when they were allegedly attacked between Hendrik Potgieter and Ontdekkers Roads by perpetrators wielding high-calibre rifles.
The victim’s father told Northsider that his son is in a stable condition and is recovering at home.
When asked about the motive, the father said it is still unclear. “We are still not sure. We can’t say it was a hijacking or a hit – my son retaliated after he was being shot at,” he explained.
