Congrats, you’re hired
So you've got the job, now you start at your new workplace, with new colleagues, rules and of course a new boss.

Many people need to prepare for the new year, especially those starting new jobs.
A new job should be exciting, as this is what you applied for, and according to your application and appointment, you are the perfect candidate. However, nerves may kick in as you don’t know entirely what to expect.
Carol Motha, a career coach and human resources graduate, said as a newly appointed employee you may not be sure what to do. She advises new employees not to be afraid to ask questions, and to offer to assist a colleague with his/ her work.
“This will show your co-workers that you are determined and enthusiastic about carrying out duties, even when not assigned to you, and help you to learn the ropes.
That will help people get to know you and your capabilities in no time,” said Carol.
According to Lawcrossing, when you are new at a workplace, you should be wary of making the wrong kind of allies. It is important to introduce yourself to people who will show you the ropes, but making bad friends, such as the office gossip, is not advisable.
No matter what position you hold at the new workplace, entry or senior level, treat everyone at the company appropriately and always be professional.
