Well-attended cycling event to be turned into an annual event
The event involved three different routes; the 52km, 26km and a 5km race.
Hirsch’s Strubens Valley recently participated in a fundraising project for the Klein-mar-Getrain pre-school.
This was a cycling event which took place at Hartbeespoort Dam and was sponsored by Intellidrive, who handed out bottles of their branded mineral water before the start of the race, while Hirsch’s supplied healthy smoothies made in the Nutri Bullet to get everyone off to a good start.
The event involved three different routes; the 52km, 26km and the 5km races.
“This will become an annual event, and organisers hope that it becomes well known in the future as being one of the best-attended cycling races in the December holidays,” said Lisa Gailey, the public relations officer at Hirsch’s.
“Organisers would like to approach companies and individuals for donations for three water-points for future Klein-mar-Getrain pre-school trail rides,” she concluded.
