I read your article dated 17 November, No water contamination, with interest, especially as Johannesburg Water has been aware of a large sewage leak in Weltevreden Park for nearly a week, without doing anything to clean it up.
The leak flows into the park in Bergkaree Avenue, opposite Kuils Avenue. Children, dogs, anyone playing in or walking through that park will be exposed to raw sewage and the danger of contracting the same diseases that Joburg Water claims they are guarding us against.
Please warn your readers about this danger, and use any influence you might have to urge JW to clean up their own mess and protect our people.
