Learners spoilt for loving to read

The group, from the Foundation Phase, were selected by their teacher, who recognised their love of reading.

A group of bookworms at Agape Christian School were recently treated to a tea and biscuits party to discuss the books that they’d been reading.

The group, from the Foundation Phase, were selected by their teacher, who recognised their love of reading.

“Books are always packed with stories, loaded with humour, stuffed with emotion and ideas and their ultimate goal is to light up children’s minds,” said Theresa Jenning from the school.

She added, “Reading is so important – it enhances vocabulary and imagination.”
