Gateway’s Casual Day fun and games
The Gateway Society celebrated Casual Day with a fun games and a braai.
The Gateway Society spoiled its residents with a fun day on Casual Day.
Celebrations started in the morning of 1 September with fun games and cricket before a dance party and a lunch of boerewors rolls. Later on in the day, the society participated in a Zumba class.

The Gateway raised funds by selling Casual Day stickers to the community and would like to thank all the businesses, schools, and universities who supported them. The top three biggest supporters this year, who deserve a special thank you, are the FNB employee volunteer programme, Weltevreden Primary School and Panorama Primary School.
“Casual Day provides every single person with an opportunity to embrace persons with disabilities who overcome life’s challenges on a daily basis against all odds,” said Moira Short, fundraising manager for the Gateway Society.
