Celebrate Spring like a King

The King's School West Rand's little ones usher in the change of season.

The King’s School West Rand took some time off from their lessons to usher in the new season by making Spring hats.

The Grade R and RR children found inspiration in the gardens around the school, created brightly coloured hats out of various materials, decorated them with flowers, and wore them all day long.

The nursery school children also made mini gardens by ‘planting’ flowers in two-litre cooldrink bottles cut in half, and enjoyed picnicking out in the sun.

The nursery school learners were not the only ones to welcome in the season, as the Grade 1 learners made delicious fruit sosaties out of various seasonal fruits.
