I have approached the DA with the issue of morning traffic gridlock in Weltevreden Park, to which I have had no response.
Last Thursday, it took me 50 minutes to travel from Rooitou Avenue to Beyers Naude (Jim Fouche) – which is 2,5km.
And this congestion doesn’t get any better.
I have even suggested to the former ward councillor a filter arrow [to be implemented] to the right at the corner of Without Avenue and Jim Fouche (that was about two years ago).
It’s a nightmare to get out of this suburb in the mornings.
