Solution to water-pressure woes in sight
David Brand addresses water pressure issues.
Ward 126 councillor, David Brand, said the problem of low water pressure in the ward should be resolved within two to three weeks.
David addressed residents during the Welview Residents Association AGM on 26 August. He explained that valves near Excel Park are jammed and since pressure is only building on one side, and not between two points, it is low.
Unfortunately the specific valves need to be specially made, thus it will take two to three weeks for the valves to be replaced and pressure to return.

David added the issue seems to be worse on weekends, especially on Saturdays, when most families wash their clothes and use a lot of water for other purposes.
He reminded residents to report such issues through the proper channels and not on WhatsApp, as he does not see all the complaints on this platform.
