Charter College supports Caring4Girls

Charter College supports the education of girls.

Charter College has donated a collection of sanitary wear to Caring4Girls.

Caring4Girls is an initiative which provides sanitary care for underprivileged girls across South Africa. Research shows that girls from marginalised backgrounds could miss up to 50 days of school each year due to menstrual challenges. Their goal is to educate and assist the Girl Child with everyday life so that she can become the best that she can possibly be.

Thembi Dlodlo, Yuveshen Naidoo and Nandipha Sithole organise boxes of sanitary wear to be donated to Caring4Girls.

The project has called on the customers of Dis-Chem pharmacies and now Charter College to assist in reaching the target. Charter College’s fundraising committee ran the project and collected over 160 packets of sanitary pads in a recent assembly. The committee said the school was very supportive and everyone came together for the good cause. The school continues to collect donations for the initiative.
