Last term’s achievers hailed

Allen Glen High School honours its learners for last term’s sporting and cultural achievements.

Allen Glen High School kick-started the new term on a joyful note on 24 July when the school honoured the achievers who had performed well in the school’s sport and cultural activities.

After missing each other during the mid-year school holidays, the learners were buzzing with excitement as they cheered for their schoolmates who graced the stage as they received accolades for their various disciplines.

A thrilled Jennifer told the Roodepoort Northsider that she was extremely happy to be rewarded for her hard work. “It actually feels nice to be awarded for sports.

I’m very happy because I’ve been working very hard for this, [and] finally, my hard work paid off,” she said.
