Bavarian Christmas festival spectacle

While all roads led to Durban this past weekend for the extravagant Vodacom Durban July, Silverstar made sure that the fun also remained in Joburg.

The casino hosted another installment of the Bavarian Christmas in July festival from 30 June to 2 July.

The fun-filled event got attendees packed in The Globe arena, which was transformed into a typical Bavarian town square over the Christmas season.

While beer fanatics tried out a variety of drinks and food sold in different stalls, the Oompah band kept the crowd on its feet with their entertaining music. The event also provided carousel rides for children who attended with their parents.
