Local security continues to fight the war against illegal substances
LITTLE FALLS – Local security company goes out of its way to eradicate illegal substances.
A local security company has continued its efforts to root out illegal substances in the area, in a bid to create a crime-free environment.
SRT security officers conducted a clean-up operation in the veld behind Pick n Pay next to Hendrik Potgieter Road recently.
During a search of the veld, various suspicious items were discovered in some makeshift shelters erected in the area.

Bags of dagga, cellphones, a camera and improvised weapons, among other items, were seized by the security officers. The items, according to the company, were handed over to police.
This success comes shortly after the security personnel assisted police in the arrest of two suspected dagga dealers in Panorama AH on 13 May.
Spokesperson for Honeydew Police Station Captain Balan Muthan welcomed and appreciated the efforts being made by security companies in their areas of patrol.
