F46 Rand Water Project closes off more roads in Weltevreden Park
WELTEVREDEN PARK – Motorists are warned that there are further road closures on JG Strydom Road.
JG Strydom Road has been further closed off due to new progress on the F46 Rand Water Project.
One of the double lanes on JG Strydom Road has been closed off where it meets 9th Avenue. Traffic is diverted to a single lane and continues as a single lane until Cornelius Street.
Bakota Avenue is closed completely with no access to or from JG Strydom Road.
Further progress in the project will result in the continued closure of the double lane from Cornelius Street. At the moment, motorists are requested to adhere to the speed limit of 40km per hour to avoid accidents.
While motorists have to pay attention to the traffic lights, flag persons are only there to warn motorists of the nearby construction work.
