Special moments with Charterhouse this Mother’s Day

RADIOKOP – Mother's Day wishes come true at Charterhouse School.

Charterhouse School celebrated Mother’s Day and were taught how incredible mothers are, no matter how old they grow.

The children celebrated everything that their mothers do for them on the cold morning of 12 May. The preparatory school hosted a celebration assembly, led by the Grade 7 monitors. Each monitor had a special message for their mothers and inspired all their peers to share special moments with their mother’s on Mother’s Day.

“The assembly included beautiful piano music as well as vibrant melodies from the marimba band. The drama club recited beautiful words. After the assembly, the mums with little ones at the pre-preparatory school, were celebrated with a morning of pampering,” said pre-preparatory school principal, Yvette Godwin.

Special moments were shared as each mother received a hand and shoulder massage, did some painting, assembled pampering oils for home use and read stories together.
