Trinityhouse High School recently celebrated its fifth birthday with Spirit Week, leading up to their Founders’ Day.
Each day a different grade would show their school spirit with an assembly performance.
The matric class ended the week with a motivational speech called We are the Lions, consisting of a video and a breathtaking performance including the school’s Lion mascot.
The school was then lit up with school spirit for their Founders’ Day, a first-ever for the school, on which they held a sports derby day.
Trinityhouse faced fierce competition in rugby, netball, and boys and girls hockey against teams from Charter College, Randfontein High, St Ursula’s, and La Salle College but came out victorious in most of its matches.

Lots of fun was had by all participating schools. Sunette Smith of Randfontein High School said,
“I would just thank you [Trinityhouse Little Falls] for the invitation to your prestigious Founders’ Sports Day. We as coaches and learners from Randfontein High School enjoyed the day. It was a well organised day and everything was done with class and style. We will certainly be back next year.”

Kirsty Ledsham of Charter College shared the same sentiments and said they absolutely loved it and would love to do it again next year.
Trinityhouse thanked the participants as well as Trinityhouse’s own Agri Zondi for taking the sports derby to a new level.
