F46 Rand Water project moves ahead
WELTEVREDEN PARK – A section of JG Strijdom will be partially closed as of 22 March.
Material netting has already been placed along JG Strijdom Road to mark the imminent continuation of the F46 Rand Water Project.
A member of the traffic management team, Adrian Pitt said the closure of the one double lane on JG Strijdom Road from Cornelius Street to Besembos Avenue, which joins with Sonneglans Avenue and becomes Fern Road, is planned to commence on 22 March.
The second double-lane will be used as a dual street for traffic to bypass.
This closure will be enforced day and night, as machinery will not be moved off site in the evenings.
Pitt and his colleague, Thesigan Padayachee, filled bags of sand to anchor the appropriate road signs in anticipation of the road closure.
