Monitors and house captains learn to work together

RADIOKOP – Charterhouse's young leaders learn different skills.

The Charterhouse monitors and house captains enjoyed a leadership development weekend at Camp Konka.

“The aim of the weekend was to allow an opportunity for our leaders to bond and become a united group,” said Lynn Davis, head of the department for grades 6 and 7.

The weekend was action-packed with team building activities where communication and motivational skills came into play. One of the monitors, Paige Salis said they learnt that teamwork is the key to success.

Another monitor, Juan van Breda mentioned, “We need to believe in ourselves and when we work together, the end product is more powerful.”
