F46 Rand Water Project delayed in Weltevreden Park

WELTEVREDEN PARK – Pipeline construction outside the road reserve is imminent.

Organisational delays have stalled the F46 Rand Water Project.

The continuation of the project was scheduled to go ahead on 7 or 8 March but community liaison officer, Jan von der Heyde said the continuation of work was imminent.

The traffic management plan team responsible for keeping traffic in order and motorists safe on the roads during further construction, is now based at the F46 Rand Water Project Sector B site offices at the Weltevreden reservoir off Landhuis Street, Allens Nek, in anticipation of road closures.

Residents are asked to remain vigilant and patient as work outside of the road reserve on JG Strijdom Road could begin at any time.

The Roodepoort Northsider will keep residents updated as to when road closures are expected and what roads will be affected.
