FERNDALE – Police confiscated small packets of dagga from two suspects in Ferndale during operations in the early hours of 5 February.
The two suspects between the ages of 30 and 40 were arrested by the Johannesburg West Cluster team.
According to the statement, the police were patrolling in the suburb at around midnight. They spotted the pair who were looking suspicious and decided to search them and their surroundings.
“They managed to confiscate small packets containing dagga, which were hidden in their vicinity. The two were immediately arrested and they will appear in the Randburg Magistrates Court soon,” said Randburg police spokesperson, Captain Johannes Maja. He said investigations were continuing.
