Victim’s help place perpetrators behind bars

KENSINGTON B – Four suspects to appear in court after their victim recognised them while he was sitting with his friends

 

KENSINGTON B – A group of four suspects who allegedly robbed a resident on the evening of 3 February were expected to appear at the Randburg Magistrates Court. The suspects were expected to answer to the charges of robbery.

This, after the victim, identified the suspects between the ages of 18 and 28, while he was sitting with his friends in Bryanston Marketplace on Saturday, 4 February.

“The victim noticed that the suspects were the ones who robbed him on Friday night. He then notified the police,” said Randburg police spokesperson, Captain Johannes Maja.

He said police reacted quickly and arrested three of the four suspects at the time. He said the fourth suspect was arrested later that same evening.
