It was a glorious day for golf when members of the gym at Jackal Creek Golf Estate got together for a smashing social four-ball golf day.

Six teams entered with some comprising dedicated golfers while others were just groups of friends hoping to have a good time.

“We have not seen each other in a long time so for us it’s more a reconnecting day,” Smit said.

Van Zyl added that the gym would host another golf day in April next year, which will be open to the public and will have more prizes, with a percentage of the proceeds being donated to a charity.
