Exciting community developments

JOBURG – A new multi-billion rand development will be built in Roodepoort.

A 100 000m² precinct development is planned in Roodepoort by property developer Atterbury.

According to the company, construction will begin next year July and it is expected to be completed in 2022. The multi-billion rand project will feature 70 000m² of office space, a shopping centre, a 120-bed hotel, a gym and 100 residential units.

The new development will be located on 14th Avenue just off the N1 Western Bypass and the planning of the road network for Precinct 14 is structured to allow four major access points into the area.

The new Metro Boulevard Interchange will be constructed as part of the precinct’s infrastructure responsibilities and there are plans to build additional lanes on either side of the 14th Avenue interchange. An additional entrance will also be added on 14th Avenue from the MTN campus which opens up onto Davidson Road.

The precinct will have access to fibre and telecommunications infrastructure.
