Let there be light

A streetlight has been damaged on the corner of Hilary Street and John Vorster Road after storms ripped through Johannesburg last week.
Hloni Motloung of City Power said, “The issue has been reported to City Power and has been escalated to the depot manager to fix it.”
On 17 November, the streetlight was repaired and the hanging cables were removed.
Ward 126 councillor David Brand said, “I am happy to see that City Power attended to the problem in a short period of time from when they were alerted to the problem.”
