An overloaded bakkie crashes into the pole

The driver of an overloaded bakkie which crashed into the lamp post on the corner of Jim Fouché and Hendrik Potgieter was trapped inside the vehicle.
Paramedics used the Jaws of Life to extricate the driver from the wreckage on the afternoon of 3 November.
Netcare 911 spokesperson, Athlenda Mathe said the occupants, a driver and a passenger, only sustained moderate injuries.
“Both men were stabilised on scene and transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics,” she said.
