The Gauteng South African Riding for the Disabled (Sarda) is hosting a Fun and Market Day at the Earth Centre in Peter Road on 29 October.
Here, the entire family can look forward to riding displays, donkey pat-n-chat, pony rides, a crafts and produce market, children’s activities, a tea garden, raffle prizes and many more. The event will start at 9am till 2pm.
Sarda is a non-profit organisation that offers free therapeutic riding to physically and mentally challenged children and young adults who cannot afford it. The Gauteng branch calls the Earth Centre home where interactive equine activities to those unable, too frail or too elderly to ride are offered as well. Earth means Equine Assisted Riding Therapy and Healing.
Entry is free for children, pensioners and friends of Sarda Gauteng. Otherwise, R10 gets you in.
